About the Client

The client is one of the most trusted shipping companies based in Canada. They became the official shipping partner for the ShopHERE program organized by the City of Toronto. They aim to simplify shipping services while ensuring quality warehousing and fulfillment services. They are associated with some big names in the industry, like FedEx, DHL, United States Postal Service, XPO Logistics, and Aramex.

Background

While The client had good website traffic, their conversion rate was extremely low and their branding was ineffective. This was because the client’s website’s UI/UX design was backdated, the web pages were not optimized and the site was not compliant with standard accessibility guidelines. As a result, they were far from having an established online presence, which acted as their main marketing and customer acquisition tool. Unified Infotech was chosen as the technology partner after an extensive Request for Proposal (RFP) process, where we conducted in-depth research about their platform’s performance and presented ideas for further improvement.

The Challenge

The Approach

Unified Infotech employed a strategic, research-based and data-driven process to analyze competitors, define user personas, and design a user-friendly website with a storytelling approach. Industry best-practices were deployed in the entire journey to develop a robust product that can deliver the desired results. After conducting thorough market research and competitor analysis, we established the information architecture, content strategy and UI guidelines. This was followed by hand-drawn sketches and high-fidelity wire-frames for the website pages. Once these were approved, the final UI designs were created, ensuring every corner of the spectrum had been thoroughly researched and covered.

The Solution

In addition to redesigning and redeveloping their landing page, we revamped all the pages of one of their service modules, Smartefreight.

  1. 24*7 guidance to their in-house developers to solve site-based complications.
  2. Conducted R&D to improve the page’s accessibility across all devices.
  3. Arranged weekly and monthly client calls to provide performance reports.
  4. Suggested SEO-based improvement of pages
  5. Project Planning through GitHub support
  6. Deactivated HubSpot and integrated Google Reviews for SEO improvement
  7. General DevOps Support & Uptime monitoring

Our team is currently in the maintenance and support phase.
